Making the Niddy Noddy: The pieces I cut for one Niddy Noddy
include a 15.5-inch piece for measuring 2-yard skeins and (5) 5.5-inch pieces
for the arms and for the 1-yard skein stems. T-joints hold all of this together
and the end caps are optional, but will keep your yarn from sliding off the
arms if you need to store it on the Noddy for a while. A 2.5-inch piece can be
used for the stem to make pompoms. You can cut PVC with a hack saw, but a PVC
cutter will make life much easier if you plan to make several, and it will make
much cleaner cuts.
