New Yarns at The Irresistible Ewe

It's always exciting to see a large box from Universal Yarns sitting on my front porch. This week I'm introducing some new yarn to my Etsy shop, The Irresistible Ewe, and an old favorite.
First up is Finn, an alpaca/acrylic/superwash merino blend. I have three colorways with the Blizzard/white backordered. I have Rainforest, a beautiful deep teal, Cast Iron, a dark grayish black, and Hyacinth, a lovely grayish lavender. The Fine/Sport/Baby sized skeins are 230 yards and 50 grams.
Stitches Per Inch
Knit: 24 sts x 32 rows = 4" // US Size 4 (3.5 mm)
Crochet: 20 sc x 24 rows = 4" // US Size E-4 (3.5 mm)
Yarn Care: machine wash - normal, do not bleach, dryclean - any solvent except trichloroethylene
They are incredibly soft. I may have to hoard a skein for some fingerless gloves for this winter.

Next, Deluxe Worsted 100% Wool is now offered undyed so that you can add your own color or use the lovely natural shades as is. Skeins are 220 yards and 100 grams in Worsted/Afghan/Aran weight.
Stitches Per Inch
Knit: 18 sts x 24 rows = 4" // US Size 7 (4.5 mm)
Crochet: 13 sts x 17 rows = 4" // US Size I-9 (5.5 mm)
Yarn Care: hand wash, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron
Deluxe Worsted continues to be a popular yarn and is perfect for a new knitter or crocheter. We have Cream and Musket colorways in stock.

Last, an old favorite is Ready -to-Dye Superwash Merino Worsted. This is 100% Superwash Merino Wool and is a joy to dye. The yarn takes dye very easily. I have used this yarn to dye with Kool-Aid before and it was beautiful. Skeins are 180 yards and 100 grams in Worsted/Afghan/Aran weight.
Stitches Per Inch:
Knit: 16 sts x 20 rows = 4" // US Size 8 (5 mm)
Crochet: 12 sts x 16 rows = 4" // US Size I-9 (5.5 mm)

Yarn Care: Machine washable. Do not bleach, dry or iron.
